Greg Yarbrough- Advice for Diving Boards

A big fish has the capability to pull any board down especially if it is on a short lead from the bait to the snap on the board. I use the TX-22 for at least 70-80% of the fishing I do and the other percentage is made up between the 6, 12 and the 24 Walleye Board. I think diving has a lot to do with the manner and position you may be fighting the fish and retrieving line. I generally try to keep about a 45 degree angle on the rod with the tip of the board just angled back so it is sticking out of the water on a 45-60 degree angle. For me I haven’t seen a problem with the way I use them, but  anytime you switch to something new you may have to make adjustments. I love them! They have been awesome!
