On the back side of planer board, place Light Stick so the flat edge (end with round hole) sets on the top edge of planer board.
While holding Light Stick in place, mark the center of hole with pen or marker. Remove Light Stick and drill 7/64" hole, no deeper than ½".  Hold Light Stick on board and insert the self threading #8 screw and just tighten until snug.  When ready to use Light Stick, hold bottom (attached to board) securely with right thumb and forefinger, hold top firmly with left thumb and forefinger and bend the light stick until you hear it snap. Shake the board and Light Stick. The stick will glow approximately 12-14 hours.

Can also be used as a strike indicator by placing the hook end over the fishing rod, towards the tip. Also can be attached to Church Tackle Co. clips, and then attached to fish line for the extra sensitive bite.

For night fishing, use as a fish attractor by adding weight and line to Light Stick and lowering it into water to the depth you are fishing.
