Mark Martin:
A little information about how I use weights, leadcore, and Church
Tackle planer boards. The TX 6 boards up to 1oz. moving 1/8 oz. at a
stand still, TX 12 boards 2 oz. moving, 1oz. at a stand still; TX 24
boards 4oz. moving and at a stand still; TX 22 boards same as a TX
24 board. Leadcore works great on both the TX 24 and TX 22 boards
with a full core on each which is 100yrds. of leadcore moving. I am
sure it would work all-right in much smaller lengths on the TX 6 and
TX 12 as well.
Matt Davis: We
have ran as much as 10 colors of lead core and a 4 oz snap weight.
Also have ran 6 oz snap weights with deep diving stick baits. I haven't done it but, Greg Yarbrough
was saying he has used size zero dipseys behind them.
Greg Yarbrough:
Here is the base rule of thumb that I typically work with on my
Church Tackle boards.
Walleye Boards - Dipsey Divers - Size 3/0, 0 and size1
Jet Divers -Size 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50
In-Lines, snap weights and bottom bouncers up to 5 oz.
Full core of Lead core up to 27lb. w as much as 4 oz of weight added
to the end
TX-22 Dipsey Divers Size 3/0 and 0
Jet Divers Size 10, 20, 30 and 40
In-Lines, snap weights and bottom bouncers up to 3 oz.
Segmented Lead Core up to 27lb.
